See how we updated our Spanish style fireplace quickly and affordably.
The fireplace renovation was one of my favorite updates! Our #fireplace is a focal point in our living room because it's the first thing that you see when you walk through the front door. We wanted a tile that was affordable, had a fun design, but would also be timeless. I love fun design, but because we don't plan on updating things again anytime soon I'm really into finding fun designs that won't be dated quickly.

It made me so sad to cover the top portion of our beautiful fireplace! There wasn't anywhere else that we could put the sectional couch that we wanted and be able to mount our TV. We love watching TV as a family, it's one of our favorite things to do! We have movie night with fresh, homemade popcorn about once a week, our girls love it! During football season, John gets the TV to himself during the games. It's safe to say that we're happy with our decision to mount the TV on top of the fireplace.
The tile that we chose adds color to the room and goes well with the grey tones in our flooring. Painting the mantle black really made the tiles pop! Surprisingly the tiles were easy to find at Lowe's and affordable, win- win! John painted the interior of the fireplace black, which is trending right now and I love how it all came together! Now we just need to get the hardware to make the fireplace operational again.
I really love this fireplace! Can you tell me how tall your ceiling is?
